Alive was born from a love of clothing and a changing relationship with how we live. Akia has loved thrifting, finding unexpected pieces and telling stories through clothing since she was a girl, eventually building a career in fashion design before turning her attention toward wellbeing. Over time, the desire for more became a desire for meaning — for comfort, purpose, versatility and effortless beauty.

 

Kyan became the inspiration for Alive: a mother, businesswoman, community leader, yoga practitioner and deeply social woman whose life moves fluidly between home, work, practice, family and connection.

 

Together, through friendship and a shared love of beautiful things, we created a capsule wardrobe for a woman who is fully engaged in her life — pieces that can move with her through its many seasons and be worn in more ways, more often.

 

We make what is needed. We make fewer things. We make things worth keeping. Alive is not about having more clothes. It is about having the right ones, so there is more room for what matters most.
